Beautiful Weather, Still a Little bit Windy

Comparing with yesterday, there was much less wind but it’s still quite windy in Ishigaki island(´-ω-`)
Today we had both certified and non-certified divers on the boat♪♪ The visibility was surprisingly good too(≧▽≦) Underwater was calm and beautiful☆

Today’s discover scuba divers♪♪ They swam very well\(^o^)/

We saw many different critters♪ A bit Anemone shrimp, they don’t move around a lot so they are easy photo motives☆

We also saw the Robust ghostpipefish♪

And a flounder sweeping across the bottom♪♪

I hope this wind will turn into a mild breeze by tomorrow♪

2019.10.03 Circling Manta Ray

First dives after the typhoon, south wind again in Ishigaki island(≧▽≦) Today, we went out with both discover scuba divers and certified divers♪ We dived at Yonehara, Arakawa and Manta point☆
Below, the discover scuba diver with a Clark’s anemonefish♪

Lots of fishes swimming above the coral reef☆

The visibility was down and it was quite muddy in Arakawa after the typhoon(;´・ω・) But the swim-throughs were still a lot of fun♪

Then, we went to Manta Scramble! We went down and a manta ray was circling around one of the cleaning stations(≧▽≦) It stayed there throughout the whole dive♪♪

Tomorrow we’re off diving againす(*^▽^*) Looking forward to it!

Discover Scuba Dives with Turtles

The swell has gotten a lot lower around Ishigaki island(≧▽≦) The visibility isn’t back yet but we still had a good time diving in Osaki today☆ The corals were looking well♪

Today’s divers all swam very well♪♪ We took photos at the coral reef☆

Keeping good buoyancy while filming with the Go-pro(^O^)

For 2nd dive we went to say Hello to the Green turtles\(^o^)/ This wam swam a bit before settling down on the reef☆☆

Of course, we took a photo together♪The turtle had squeezed itself in a rock crack, I wonder why?(;・∀・) It looked cute rocking back and forth☆

Soon September will be over, I wonder when this north wind will turn back to south(;´・ω・) I want to enjoy Ishigaki’s summer a bit longer(;^ω^)

Hello Osaki Area, it’s been a while!

The wind is still not too strong but it comes from the north to Ishigaki island(´-ω-`)I wonder if a typhoon will come or not, I hope not!(-_-メ) Today, we went out diving in Osaki area for the first time in a long while☆ The corals were very pretty and I’m happy to see that they are doing well(≧▽≦)

We saw lots of Green turtles♪♬

And on the sandy bottom, a Robust ghostpipefish☆

The Clown anemonefishes were also looking well, they’re very popular with beginner divers♪

I also found this Whipcoral shrimp☆ It was a shy one that kept hiding(;・∀・)

Tomorrow we’re starting an Open water diver course\(^o^)/

First Dives, Challenging but Fun

Another typhoon has formed, it doesn’t look big but its heading for Ishigaki island(゚Д゚;)
Today we had three discover scuba divers onboard☆ Everybody did their very first dives☆☆ and everybody managed to get underwater and dived smoothly(≧▽≦)

We first went to Yamabare to look for the turtles, but they weren’t there today(/ω\)

We saw lots of different fishes and took pictures with the Anemone fishes♪

For the second dive, we headed to Manta point… but no Manta rays today(;^ω^)

Tomorrow we’ll make preparations for the typhoon(;・∀・)
