Did some discover scuba dives this morning before the sea got too rough!

The wind has suddenly gotten stronger again in Ishigaki, however, the sea was calmer than expected this morning(≧▽≦)
Today’s guest had been diving with us two times before♪ He swam very well☆ We even floated over the corals\(^o^)/

In Osaki, we met the resident green sea turtles♪

This one was very relaxed and we could take a photo together!

In Nagura, we enjoyed the coral garden(^O^)

Look at the red eyes against the green! It’s an anemone partner shrimp ♪

A young tomato anemonefish☆ The look so cute when young but will often protect their anemone aggressively when they get older(;^ω^)

Tomorrow we’re doing a refresher course♪ The wind is blowing strong outside… I hope tomorrow will also be calmer than expected(;^ω^)

Relaxing discover scuba dives

The north wind keeps blowing strong over Ishigaki island(;´・ω・) however, it’s still quite warm☆ We went out to Osaki area for discover scuba dives today♪ We had two guests from Hong Kong that did their very first dives, they both swam so well!♪♪

Of course, we also met one of the resident sea turtles of Osaki(≧▽≦)

We also swam by some tiny anemonefishes♪

In the shallow area, we saw many beautiful corals☆

Today, the sun warmed us on the boat between the dives but it looks like it will be cloudier tomorrow(;・∀・)

Stormy above, calm below

Very strong north wind today in Ishigaki island(;・∀・) We went for discover scuba dives in Ishigaki’s Osaki and Nagura area☆

In Osaki, the visibility was less than usual but the Green sea turtles didn’t care and were sleeping on top of their usual rocks(`・ω・´) We also saw a Hawksbill sea turtleた☆ I didn’t manage to take a picture of it this time(;´・ω・)

A Banded seasnake with its head in the sand and tail up in the air… the water I meanww

We also swam by this deep blue flatworm!

The corals were also looking well!! They have been growing so much that I think they will reach all the way the surface when it’s low tide(≧▽≦)

Tomorrow, it will be a little bit less windy(;^ω^) I like it best underwater♪♪

Discover Scuba Dives with Sea Turtles

Northeast wind today in Ishigaki island, it feels like winter is on its way(;^ω^) The water temperature is still a comfortable 26°C☆ Today, we had a group of beginner divers on the boat(≧▽≦)

It was everybody’s first time diving, a bit unstable at first but then everybody swam very well☆

At the shallow part of the dive site, the sea goldies were swimming in and out of the corals(/・ω・)/

We took a photo together☆ All three divers were breathing at the same pace in this one!♪

A big Sea turtle(≧▽≦) It was very relaxed and kept rubbing its shell against the rock to clean it☆

We could get very close to the turtle☆ Big excitement! (*’ω’*)

There are three different kinds of sea snakes in Ishigaki, the most common one is the Banded sea snake(;・∀・) It’s beautiful but not popular with everyone(;^ω^)

Both the air and water temperature are still really pleasant in Ishigaki☆☆ I want it to stay like this all winter, but that’s probably not going to happen(;・∀・)

A Fine Day for Discover Scuba Dives

The north wind is blowing over Ishigaki island. We went out for discover scuba dives in Osaki area(≧▽≦) Today’s divers were from Hong Kong♪ One of them was certified and the other two did their first dives today(/・ω・)/

Everybody swam very well♪ It was hard to believe it was their first dives(;・∀・)

We met the Sea turtles in Osaki(≧▽≦) This one was chilling on the rocks♪

Group picture♪♪

We also met many other sea creatures and took lots of photos♪ Below, together with Clown anemonefishes☆

A close up of a Clark’s anemonefish♪ Looking closely, they have a lot of teeth! (;・∀・)

Tomorrow, the wind will get stronger again. We have another group of discover scuba divers joining us♪
