Diving for the Whole Family

A clear sunny day in Ishigaki island(≧▽≦) Just a little bit hot without any wind(;・∀・)
Today we went out for both fun and discover scuba dives with one dive enthusiastic family☆☆
Both kids had been diving before so it was very relaxed(^O^) The older brother already has his certificate♪♪

After the first dive at Yonehara we headed to Manta point! Today we saw four Manta rays circling the cleaning station☆☆ We had to wait almost 25min for them to appear but finally they showed up \(゜ロ\)(/ロ゜)/

It’s too bad the photos turned out so dark(-_-メ)

We also went to see the turtles(≧▽≦) This big individual had squeezed itself under a rock♪

A smaller turtle was sleeping on top of the reef(;^ω^)

We met many different animals today♪And we also got to see many corals☆

Off for fun dives tomorrow again♪Looking forward to it☆

Discover Scuba Dives with Manta Rays

Another summery warm day in Ishigaki island(≧▽≦)
We went out with two discover scuba divers today☆☆ They had dived before so they were quite comfortable underwater(`・ω・´)

The deep blue dotted with colorful fishes♪

A Lionfish☆

Second dive at manta scramble☆ Just after descending we saw a manta swim under the boat\(゜ロ\)(/ロ゜)/ We also saw one circling the cleaning station(/・ω・)/

I’m happy we got some good dives(≧▽≦)

I hope this good weather will continue♪ Tomorrow, we’ll have a scuba diving family onboard☆

Like a Summer’s Day

Almost no wind as we departed today♪It’s just before the rainy season, but it already feels like summer in Ishigaki island(≧▽≦)Today we went out with two discover scuba divers☆

The coral field in Yonehara was lively as always, I feel so calm swimming over it(´-ω-`)

Even for first-time divers, there are many good spots on the reef! Like this Anemone with Clown anemone fishes☆

At first, it was a bit scary for them to breathe underwater but once underwater they were both good swimmers☆ We took pictures together with the Anemone fishes♪

We went out to Manta point today too♪♪ Unfortunately, no manta rays showed up today(/ω\) We will try again tomorrow…

Lots of Manta rays! Amazing Discover Scuba Dives

Almost no wind at all over Ishigaki island today(≧▽≦) We went out for Discover scuba dives, first dive at Osaki and then around the cape to Manta point☆☆
Today’s first time divers were very good swimmers underwater once they got over their nervosity \(^o^)/

There were many divers around Osaki today but we got to see a cuttlefish anyway☆

We also admired the corals and all the small fishes swimming in and around them♪Our divers were surprised to see so many fishes everywhere(*’ω’*)

Second dive at Manta point! Today we hit the jackpot at Manta Scramble♪♪♪ As soon as we went in, we saw the manta rays circling one of the cleaning stations(/・ω・)/ And not only one, we saw many of them!

In total, there was four of them circling! Today’s guests were super lucky(`・ω・´)

We stayed still and got a really close look at their dance♪♪

Tomorrow, the wind will continue to be calm but maybe a bit more cloudy(;´・ω・) Looking forward to depart from Kabira bay again(≧▽≦)

Fun Dives and Discover Scuba Dives

Another day with south wind in Ishigaki island♪
Today we departed from Kabira and went diving at Yonehara and Manta point☆ L-san did her first scuba dives♪♪
She got a hang of it very quickly and even made good buoancy over the corals(≧▽≦)

On top of a bommie, a bountiful school of Sea goldies swam around♪♪

Christmas tree worms, it’s very fun to see them hide so quickly!

A lion fish poked its head out♪♪ The long fins are very elegant, don’t you think?(^O^)

A Giant moray hid under a rock.

Unfortunately, we had no luck with the Mantas today either(T_T)
And tomorrow the wind will turn north in the afternoon so we’ll have to drive around to Sakieda again.
