Wonderful corals and close turtle encounter

Calm sea around Ishigaki island today♪ The visibility was also on top! ( ´ ▽ ` )
We went diving in Osaki and Nagura area☆ It’s been a while since I saw this leafy scorpionfish♡ It’s always around the same area but we haven’t been there for a while σ(^_^;)

We also met the green sea turtles! There were lot’s of them today☆ Two remoras had attached themselves to this large turtles back Σ(‘◉⌓◉’)

Another turtle was swimming ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ I just sat down and waited and it came back to have a closer look at me!

Corals in Nagura area! The visibility was unusually good today and I felt like I was diving in a magical wonderland☆

Our guests also looked like they had a good time!

From tomorrow, strong winds will blow over the island! It’s uncommon around this season (T_T) We decided to keep safe and not go out tomorrow, so next dives will be next year. I hope that next year will be better for everyone!

Family diving and snorkeling in Ishigaki

The wind was calm and even the sun came out over Osaki in Ishigaki island today (≧∀≦)
We went diving and snorkeling with this family of ocean lovers♪Despite the good weather, the island has gotten a bit cold σ(^_^;)

Veteran discover scuba diver♪ Everyone swam very well ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

A giant cuttlefish swam over the finger corals!! This individual has been around this area for a while (*^▽^*)

We saw one green sea turtle today♡ Of course, we took a photo together〜☆

The rest of the family snorkeled and enjoed the reef from above. A few more years and maybe they all will be diving!!
Looking at the weather forecast, 2020 will end with a big storm Σ(‘◉⌓◉’) I guess we should have expected that…

Calm before the storm, we got back just in time

Merry Christmas♪Don’t you think this little parrotfish fry has just the right colors for the season?☆ The sea was flat as we departed Ishigaki island this morning, without the wind it was the warmest morning we had for some time ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆ We went for fun dives again♪

A big nudibranch♪ This individual had three big “bones” sticking out of the back, we don’t see this species very often.

After we finished diving and started to get everything off the boat, the wind suddenly picked up! The temperature went down instantly and it started to rain… so happy that we finished just on time ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+

Fun dives with lots of fishes

Cloudy sky and a bit windy in Ishigaki island today, at least the weather forecast was wrong about the rain! (≧∀≦)
In Osaki, the green sea turtles were sleeping♪ We greeted them and they just continued to — sleep… Zzz

This turtle had squeezed itself between the rocks(^_^;) Our guest in the background♪

This bright white nudibranch yellow “skirt” fluttered daintily as it moved along the bottom ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

An ornate pipefish♪It’s in the middle of the photo but kind of hard to tell if apart from the rocks when it’s not moving σ(^_^;)

A squirt shrimp wiggling its little tail as it walks around the anemone.

Lots of fishes gathering around this tiny anemone on the sandy bottom, no need to worry about social distancing!

The wind has turned to north again so the next few days will be colder again. I hope the sun will come out…

Eastern winds over Ishigaki today

The wind has finally calmed down a bit and the weather was pleasant in Ishigaki island today(≧∀≦)
We went diving in Osaki and Nagura area♪

A green sea turtle cleaning its shell by rubbing on the rock. He had the look of someone who was interupted ( ̄◇ ̄;)
