A north wind is blowing, and it’s still winter-like on Ishigaki Island. 🏝️A few days of fun diving with guest who is an instructor 🤿 It would have been brighter if the sun was out but it was overcast the whole time. Even so, we saw lots of different marine animals🐠 Even had an unexpected encounter with a manta ray! But my camera setup for macro didn’t capture it…

It’s at the deep end of the site so we don’t go often, but it’s possible to see beautiful green robust ghost pipefish there✨

Two different whip coral shrimp, first a rare Zanzibar whip-coral shrimp✨ below that, an ordinary whip-coral shrimp.


An emperor shrimp, they usually hides below but this one was riding on top.

A pair of squat shrimps, almost making a heart shape together ♡

And we saw lots of different nudibranch✨








Also a few flat worms✨


I hope the water temperature will go up soon!
